According to a study conducted by The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), The Indian wedding season is set to witness an unprecedented surge, with an estimated 48 lakh wedding ceremonies anticipated over the coming months, witnessing business worth Rs. 5.9 lakh Crores during this wedding season.

This boom is expected to fuel an extraordinary demand for mangalsutras, a quintessential part of Indian matrimonial customs.

With the growing preference for traditional jewellery among modern brides, industry experts foresee a significant increase in the sales of mangalsutras, as families gear up for elaborate wedding celebrations. As a key symbol of marital commitment, the mangalsutra remains an integral part of the bride’s adornment, blending cultural heritage with contemporary designs.
