International Diamond Premier League 3.0 Heads to Hong Kong, Bringing Global Diamond Community Together

International Diamond Premier League 3.0 Heads to Hong Kong, Bringing Global Diamond Community Together

The global natural diamond community will once again come together—this time in Hong Kong—for the third edition of the International Diamond Premier League (IDPL), scheduled to take place from 19–22 March 2026.

What began as a unique initiative to connect the diamond trade through cricket has quickly grown into a widely anticipated gathering of industry professionals. After earlier editions in Belgium and India, the upcoming Hong Kong tournament will bring together diamantaires and industry stakeholders from key trading centres including India, Belgium, and Hong Kong.

Beyond the excitement on the cricket field, the event is expected to provide an informal yet meaningful platform for relationship building, networking, and collaboration within the natural diamond ecosystem.

The Grand Opening Ceremony will be held on 22 March 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong, where industry leaders, partners, and invited guests are expected to attend.

Cricket as a Platform for Industry Camaraderie

The International Diamond Premier League was created with a simple but powerful idea—using cricket, a sport deeply followed across several diamond hubs, to bring members of the trade together outside traditional business settings.

Events like IDPL highlight how closely interconnected the global diamond pipeline has become. Manufacturers, traders, retailers, and service providers often operate across continents, and platforms like these provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships within the industry.

The Hong Kong edition of IDPL is also expected to reinforce the city’s long-standing position as an important gateway connecting Asian markets with the global diamond trade.

Celebrating the Natural Diamond Industry

A key theme of the tournament remains the promotion of natural diamonds and the people behind the industry. Companies supporting the event represent different segments of the value chain—from diamond manufacturing and trading to high jewellery creation and secure logistics.

Their participation underscores the industry’s shared commitment to craftsmanship, authenticity, and the enduring value that natural diamonds continue to hold in global markets.
