Awarded for ‘Best Security & Command Centre in Premises of the Year’

In a proud moment for the city and the gem & jewellery industry, the Department of Security & Fire Safety of Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) has been conferred with the SURAKSHIT MUMBAI AWARD 2025 – 1st Edition, under the **category ‘Best Security & Command Centre in Premises of the Year’*.

The prestigious award ceremony took place at The Westin, Powai, on Friday, 30th May, and was organized by SymX, PSP, and ASIS Mumbai Chapter, recognizing organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to safety, security, and innovation.

The award was received by Shri Shirish Inamdar JiMr. Samir Jha, Mr. Mahesh Kaloni, and Mr. Ramesh Khodke, and presented by Shri Santosh Bahadur SinghCommandant, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

The glittering ceremony witnessed an eminent gathering of top-ranking officials, dignitaries, and safety professionals. The Chief Guest for the evening was Mr. Harjinder KangBritish Deputy High Commissioner, while the Guests of Honour included:
