The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) conducted its 59th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 23rd September at 12:00 PM IST in a hybrid format, enabling members to join physically at Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai, or participate virtually through video conferencing.
In line with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) guidelines, members cast their votes electronically on resolutions during the remote e-voting period, held from 20th to 22nd September 2025. The Annual Report was delivered electronically and made available on the Council’s website under the Legal & Secretarial Compliances tab.
The meeting agenda included adoption of the Council’s audited financial statements for FY 2024–25, appointment of branch auditors for regional offices, and regularisation of newly elected Committee of Administration (CoA) members as Directors of the Council.
The members elected in the CoA Elections 2024 were regularised as the Directors of the Council in the Annual General Meeting. They included Mr. Shaunak Parikh, Mr. Anoop Mehta, Mr. Anilkumar Virani, Mr. Pankaj Parekh, Mr. Krishnamoorthy Srinivasan, Mr. Jayantibhai Savaliya, Mr. Ashishkumar Borda, Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Mr. Mansukhlal Kothari, Mr. Manish Jiwani, Mr. Dwarka Prasad Khandelwal, Ms. Khushbu Ranawat, and Mr. Mahender Tayal.
Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC, presided over the proceedings and emphasised the Council’s commitment to transparency, compliance, and strengthening member engagement.
