GJC’s 8th Edition of India Gem & Jewellery Show (GJS2025) to Shine Bright at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai from September 16–19, 2025

The All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) proudly announces the 8th edition of the India Gem & Jewellery Show (GJS2025) #HumaraApnaShow, India’s most premium B2B jewellery exhibition, scheduled from 16th to 19th September 2025 at the iconic Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Themed “Tyohar Bharat Ke, Show Humara Apna – Where Every Festival Finds Its Jewellery”, this festive edition promises a spectacular convergence of creativity, commerce, and craftsmanship. GJS2025 will bring together 400+ exhibitors, 10,000+ visitors, and 2,000+ hosted buyers from across India, offering unmatched networking and sourcing opportunities.

The Grand Inauguration Ceremony on 16th September 2025 at 9:30 AM will be honoured by the Chief Guest, Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The ceremony will also be graced by Dr. B. Govindan (Chairman, Bhima Jewellers) and Mr. Sandeep Kohli (CEO, Novel Jewels, Aditya Birla Group & Indriya – Aditya Birla Jewellery), along with special guests Mr. Rajiv Jain (Secretary, Jaipur Jewellery Show) and Mr. Prithviraj Kothari (National President, IBJA – India Bullion and Jewellers Association).

Mr. Rajesh Rokde, Chairman of GJC, shared:
“Global geopolitical uncertainties and market volatility have kept gold prices high, yet India’s festive and wedding season continues to fuel strong consumer demand. Jewellery today is not only an expression of tradition but also viewed as a trusted investment during uncertain times. GJS2025 comes at this crucial juncture, providing the industry with the right platform to meet demand, adapt to changing consumer needs, and showcase the resilience of Indian craftsmanship. With NJA, we also honour the innovators shaping the future of this sector.”

Mr. Avinash Gupta, Vice Chairman of GJC, said:
“Festive demand for jewellery has stayed strong despite the higher gold rates, reflecting the deep cultural and emotional bond consumers share with this metal. At GJS2025, we will see innovations that cater to evolving preferences—lightweight, contemporary, and Gen Z-friendly designs—while keeping tradition intact. The NJA awards will showcase leaders who are reimagining design and business for the future.”

Mr. Saiyam Mehra, Convenor of GJS and Past Chairman of GJC, remarked:
“The current global situation has reaffirmed gold’s position as a store of value, and this is driving both investment and jewellery demand. While prices are high, they are also inspiring creativity—lighter pieces, modern designs, and silver alternatives are gaining momentum. GJS2025 brings this energy together, and with the NJA we celebrate not just business, but the resilience and brilliance of Indian craftsmanship.”

Covering 1.5 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space, the show will present an extensive showcase of gold, diamond, silver, platinum, gemstones, pearls, lab-grown diamonds, and advanced allied machinery.
