Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), Mumbai, celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with exceptional grandeur and fervor, embodying the nation’s timeless spirit of patriotism, unity, and resilience. The occasion was marked by vibrant ceremonies, heartfelt tributes, and inspiring cultural presentations, reinforcing BDB’s dedication to national progress.
The celebrations began with moving patriotic verses, setting a tone of reverence and pride. The Flag hoisting ceremony, led by Shri Mehul Shah, Vice President of BDB, symbolized the triumph of freedom and the collective commitment of the diamond community towards India’s continued growth.
Distinguished guests honored the event, including:

- Mr. Eko Santoso Junor**, Hon’ble Consul – Economy of Indonesia in Mumbai
- Shri Ramlal Ji, National Co-Incharge, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh
Esteemed leadership from BDB, including Shri Kiritbhai Bhansali, Managing Committee Member & Chairman, GJEPC, alongside BDB Committee Members, further highlighted the institution’s commitment to excellence and national responsibility.

Special acknowledgement was given to Mr. Shirish Inamdar, Consultant – Security & Vigilance, and Mr. Samir Kumar Jha, General Manager – DSFS, for their outstanding leadership and dedication in orchestrating the day’s memorable events.
The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the honor of the Tiranga and a solemn reminder that “freedom is an enduring responsibility“.
