GJEPC Strengthens Trade Relations with Vietnam: Welcomes Delegation for IIJS Premiere & SAJEX 2025

In a significant step towards enhancing international trade relations, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) recently hosted key representatives from the Embassy of India in Hanoi, Vietnam, to discuss collaborative opportunities in the gems and jewellery sector.
Mr. S. Chinpau Ngaihte, Counsellor (Economic & Commercial), along with Mr. M.A. Pham Quyet Thang, Economic and Commercial Official, met with Mr. Gaurang Vora, Manager – National Events, GJEPC, in Mumbai. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade ties between India and Vietnam and facilitating an official Vietnamese trade delegation’s participation in two of the industry’s most prestigious global platforms: IIJS Premiere 2025 in Mumbai and SAJEX 2025 in Saudi Arabia.
The discussions underscored mutual interest in expanding trade avenues, exploring B2B engagement opportunities, and leveraging India’s vast jewellery manufacturing expertise to build long-term partnerships with Vietnamese businesses. Both sides expressed optimism about the potential of these events to serve as valuable networking and business development platforms.
IIJS Premiere, GJEPC’s flagship show, is recognized globally for connecting the finest Indian jewellery manufacturers with leading international buyers. Meanwhile, SAJEX 2025, an emerging trade event in Saudi Arabia, is being positioned as a key gateway to the Middle Eastern jewellery market.
The visit reflects the growing importance of India-Vietnam trade relations in the luxury goods segment and GJEPC’s continued commitment to expanding India’s global footprint in the gem and jewellery domain.
