The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) marked a spectacular milestone—60 years of excellence in championing India’s gem and jewellery industry. The celebration took place on 4th August 2025 at the vibrant Innov8 Launchpad, Hall No. 1, IIJS Premiere, Mumbai, and brought together a full house of industry pioneers and well-wishers.
What made the event truly special was the presence of former GJEPC Chairmen and veteran Council members, who have been instrumental in shaping the journey of the Council over the decades. Their wisdom and legacy lit up the room, making it a heartwarming tribute to GJEPC’s remarkable legacy.

The occasion wasn’t just about the past—it was also about honouring those who continue to build the Council’s future. The event concluded with a rewards and recognition ceremony celebrating dedicated GJEPC employees, whose contributions are the backbone of the organisation.
In a special segment, members of the Femina Committee were honoured for their outstanding commitment to empowering women professionals within the Council. The Femina Forum plays a crucial role in fostering growth, inclusion, and leadership among women at GJEPC.
