GJS 2026 Diwali Edition to Bring 400+ Exhibitors to Mumbai from October 2–4

GJC’s 10th India Gem & Jewellery Show will feature 700+ booths, 10,000+ visitors and 2,000 hosted buyers at Jio World Convention Centre

The All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) is set to host the 10th edition of the India Gem & Jewellery Show (GJS 2026 Diwali Edition) from October 2–4, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The edition is being presented under the theme #HumaraApnaShow.

The India Gem & Jewellery Show, presented by GJC, is positioned as a sourcing platform for jewellers from across the country. The 2026 edition will bring together 400+ exhibitors, 700+ booths, 10,000+ visitors and 2,000 hosted buyers from India and abroad.

The show will be inaugurated by Shri Uday Samant Ji, Cabinet Minister for Industries and Marathi Language, Government of Maharashtra. The inauguration will also be attended by Mr. Srinivas Injeti, Chairman, IAGES; Mr. Mahesh Jain, President, UP Sarafa Association; and Mr. Rajiv Jain, Chairman, JJS, as guests.

Rajesh Rokde: GJS 2026 Marks a Milestone

15,000 Sq. Metres of Exhibition Space

GJS 2026 will span 15,000 square metres of exhibition space.

The show is scheduled from October 2–4, 2026, approximately one month before Diwali on November 8, 2026, and two weeks ahead of Navratri from October 11–19, 2026. The timing is positioned around the upcoming festive and wedding season.

The Grand Inauguration Ceremony will take place on October 2, followed by the National Jewellery Awards (NJA) on October 3. On October 4, the programme will continue with seminars, buyer interactions and exhibition showcases.

Elite Family Jewellers Meet & Business Workshop

Ahead of the exhibition, GJS 2026 will host an Exclusive Elite Family Jewellers Meet & Business Workshop on October 1, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

The full-day workshop will be led by business coach Mr. Rahul Jain and powered by IAGES (Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards), with Fischer as technology partner.

The programme is designed for jewellery business owners and their families and will cover business growth strategies, sales and profitability, leadership and team management, customer acquisition and retention, and frameworks for scaling businesses.

National Jewellery Awards on October 3

The 15th edition of the National Jewellery Awards (NJA) 2026 will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 7:30 pm onwards at Jasmine Hall, Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

The awards are presented by the World Gold Council (WGC) and powered by the India Gold Metaverse (IGM). The event will recognise excellence across segments and categories, including creativity, innovation and craftsmanship in India’s jewellery sector.
